And it pisses me off !

So i just wanted to adress some category problem on deviant. The particularity of my work aways has been a problem, but i'm somewhat bored of people making comments about category etc..

So the problem is simple ! Firstly, i do fanarts, and i'm using partial photomanipulation. When i put the fanart into Photomanipulation, i'm wrong, cause i don't put it into fanart category, and my recent fanarts have been relocated to fanart !

But when i put it in fanart, i'm wrong, cause there are no photomanipulation section into fanart, so i'm cheating on people, who believed i drawn the image from scratch, even when i say i din't in the comment. They clearly don't read the comment.

So i'm always fucked, anyway !!

And it's even more complicated than that actually, cause the photomanipulation category gives a false impression of my work. Photomanip oftenly are the art of collage, or photo montage, mat painting and all. I'm actually reshaping, and even if i'm not using pencil for that, i'm creating the face, in all its facial features. My work, amusingly, compare more to a modeler, that would be taking some random base face model to sculpt his own. But after that, i digipaint a good 50-60% of the image, and paint over the all thing.

I should put it in Fanart and don't bother with the Photomanip thing actually. The all polemic with Gunner Romantic is somewhat silly. It should be a problem of time and energy consumed, not about way of doing arts. The thing that pisses off some people is that my pictures can be taken for hugely talented coloring and shading, when it's not so much, except for the part i'm digipainting^^ So this is the only problem. I'm not the best drawer in the world, at all. But my pictures are a huge work and time, and nobody achieve the same result, in this genre, so what's the problem...

There isn't one actually lol... But i was just bored with an ultimate "hey, your sora picture shouldn't be in photomanipulation ???" IT WAS JUST REOLCATED BY DEVIANT THIS NIGHT !!! lol....

I actually forgot to tell the thing i was here for...
A solution for category problems, dear deviantART: Make two different category for each art. A technical one, and a genre one, perfectly separate from each other... So each deviation can be a portrait, a fanart etc... AND have some technical style, separatly.
