, Melfina from Outlaw Star.

Those type of chara design, very 90's are really hard to do for me, especially for a female, cause the style is way too much unrealistic. Actually, the problem is that those really skinny girls, with little nose, really high on the face, peaked chin, big saaaaaaaaad eyes... They would be just real ugly in real life^^
So i have to find the good balance, yet making the chara recognizable. It's hard !

Instantly recognizable!! Which is amazing, given that the original character design really would have been very fugly. I really hated her character and personality, but this fanart is beautiful. Incredible how you brought her to life like that. You translated the hair and the sad sad eyes into a realistic perspective.
