Second Mario take !
I'm feeling i progress and it's a good thing. I really wanted to have a painted "ghibli style" background, and to re-imagine the Mario World from scratch (and not from a screen of the game).
I studied a lot of nature painting to have this result, the mood etc... ! I hope you like it^^
ps : He he THX for the DD
But i realize everytime i don't mention it, people believe it's a painting from scratch ! As usual, (and as it will always be), that's a matte painting and painting over with some painted elements !

I like just about everything in this one, the trees, the flowers, the bushes, the round hills in the background, the goombas, the venus flytrap thing coming out of the pipe. The single thing I'd even consider complaining about is that the coins look spherical instead of cylindrical. heh...sorry that this is so long... You're a beast, my friend.
-- Michael Jackson was proof that whatever the tabloids spew, the idiotic masses will believe it. The character assassination is complete. R.I.P. Mike I think the Mario series could use an update like this.
