Second Mario take !

I'm feeling i progress and it's a good thing. I really wanted to have a painted "ghibli style" background, and to re-imagine the Mario World from scratch (and not from a screen of the game).

I studied a lot of nature painting to have this result, the mood etc... ! I hope you like it^^

ps : He he THX for the DD :P But i realize everytime i don't mention it, people believe it's a painting from scratch ! As usual, (and as it will always be), that's a matte painting and painting over with some painted elements !

WOW! this is just great! i love how much work you put into it! this is one of the best pieces of art ive ever seen in my life!! another great thing is the backround, you added the one enemy that is only in Mario World! it makes me feel like im playing the game but a new better version, just beautiful! the shading you made for it makes it look so much more realistic then the real game or a mario game made for the wii! it is just so amazing looking at this! awesome job on this amazing beautiful peice of art! :D

Wowie...this is amazing!
it's as if i'm really playing the game!!!
ok, so what i really like is that, you used great detale in your
picture. I also really like how you made the picture look
soft, and how you made it look foggy in the backround! that's
really well made and put together. What I really like the most
is, how you made the setting of this picture. I love all of it
but, what really cought my eye was how you made it look
more realistic:D

Well, there is nothing more to say because, let's just say it's
well made and it's most deffinetly BEAUTIFUL! :iconeeeeeplz:

I think this is beautiful! I can definitely see the Ghibli style in this image. I want to go skipping along with Mario too. I do prefer the update, however probably because the colours are a tad richer. Wonderful!
