Heyy something new! Really minimalistic, but i wanted to try. You know i'm always doing things by curiosity!

So i wanted to see what would be a pixel art crt, but still HD version of Link to the past. Actually my first question was.. What would be the good resolution to have a pixel art "old school" game, that would still look good on a modern screen. 540p seemed the right choice, as it's only half the full hd res. It still looks pixelated, but has enough details so it's not pixel porn all over my face.

I kinda droped the ball in the end, cause i'm not really a pixel artist after all and it's a pain in the ass. But my point was to show this hd crt with scanlines look :) I'll do better an other time!

Wow this looks like a lot of work. I love it! It looks prettier than the old original but it keeps the feeling. I'd love to play the game with such graphics!

First of all, I'm not an artist, just a huge fan of the stuff (you're creations are one of my favs!)

I think you should do full HD, just play with pixel size (maybe have each pixel in the picture be actually 2x2 pixels? I think thats what other pixel artists do, not sure on the actual dimensions)

I love this scene by the way, I just think Link looks weird and fat. I love the scan lines, its a very unique look in today's pixel art world! Definitely made me nostalgia all over the place, this is one of my favorite games of all time, favorite Zelda for sure - those scan lines reminded me of playing it on a 90s CRT TV sitting just a couple feet away. Cant believe its been almost 20 years...


Anyway, congrats on another great piece. I hope to order some of these form you sometime (any chance you can sign it?). Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
