It was a looong time witout any new game art. I've been busy and this one was hard to do cause i couldn't find the right style for the platforms. And it's drawn from scratch (with some help from the Sonic CD intro itself).

It's indeed a really cartoony and Sonic CD oriented version, that would animate (in my dream) in the same style!

This is beautiful. While you did a great job of adding detail and realism to the Sonic world, what really tops it off is how you managed to make it feel like an actual game level by keeping the foreground and background elements out of focus compared to the main path. You're a very clever artist.
